The Resurrected Christ is the Good Shepherd who laid down his life for his sheep. The concept of the Good Shepherd is one of the most beautiful titles of Jesus Christ in the Bible. It reminds us of a God-man who is loving, caring, tender, and empathetic with us.
Indeed, Easter is joyful, hopeful. Peaceful, and graceful feast of our eternal victory in Christ Jesus. Yet, it presents us with an everlasting challenge of what kind of life, we live on, in Christ Jesus. Spiritual life in the imitation of Christ and testimonial life before our brothers and sisters in the Christian community. This is the sign of our redeemable life in Christ Jesus.
The resurrection of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ opens up to us the fountain of unfathomable mercy of God. The Divine Unfathomable Mercy of God is the Easter gift that the Church receives from the Risen Christ and offers to humanity.

The Broken Christ or as it is known in México “Cristo Roto” may not have liturgical, doctrinal or biblical teaching but a strong spirituality of seeing and treating our brokenness and that of our brothers and sisters in the Broken Christ.
