Christ’s ascension to the glory of heaven is our great hope that someday we will also share eternality in God’s glory. It is a promise of God’s living and abiding Presence with us at all times through the Holy Spirit. It is the indwelling of the Holy Spirit as he has promised, “I am with you always; yes, to the end of time.
